Ceramic coating cures from a few hours up to 12 hours depending on the coating. To ensure a strong bond between the chemical and the paint, we recommend not washing your car for 48 hours after application.

Ceramic coating is tougher than clear coat, therefore, you can use an automatic car wash. Whether your vehicle has a ceramic coating or not, we recommend that you use a touchless automatic car wash that does not have brushes or scrubbers.

Your car can be washed as you normally do at a quality car wash facility, but you should avoid washing it in direct sunlight. A PH neutral chemical is recommended. The purpose of this care is to ensure that your ceramic coating lasts as long as possible. 

The cost of reapplication of ceramic coating is usually 1/3 to 1/2 half the original cost.

In order to analyze the cost-benefit, it is best to compare it to traditional wax. Reapplying wax every few months can cost you more and take time out of your schedule. Ceramic lasts longer and is much stronger than wax. Yes, it is worth it, as it can result in a higher resale value.

Our recommendation is to reapply within four years. Ideally, if you use your car every day or it is exposed to external elements more frequently, you should have it recoated within three years. In general, the product should be reapplied if water and dirt do not bead off. If you wish to extend the longevity of your ceramic coating, you may use ceramic boost during this period.
